Join me for a comprehensive 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) program in Lagos, Nigeria.
Held across two 10-day immersions, and an online module, this training is designed for yoga practitioners who are ready to deepen their practice, gain confidence in teaching, and learn the art and science of Hatha Yoga.

The 200-hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training is a Yoga Alliance–approved program that provides the foundation you need to become a skilful and knowledgeable yoga teacher. Taught in the classical Hatha tradition of Sri T. Krishnamacharya, this training covers essential aspects of yoga, including asana, pranayama, meditation, teaching methodology, yoga philosophy, and anatomy. Students will learn the methodology and techniques that underpin the ability to be able to practice and teach yoga in a safe manner that aligns with the foundational values of this ancient practice.

WHAT DOES A DAY LOOK LIKE ON THE COURSE?
8:00 am – 9:30 am
Morning Practice (Asana, Pranayama & Meditation)
Guided Hatha practice, including breathwork (pranayama) and meditation to set the tone for the day.

9:30 am – 10:30 am
Techniques & Alignment Workshop
In-depth exploration of specific asanas (postures), focusing on alignment, modifications, and adjustments.

10:30 am – 11:00 am
Morning Break
30-minute break for rest and refreshments.
​
11:00 am – 12:30 pm
Teaching Methodology
Introduction to cueing, sequencing, and hands-on adjustments. Includes practice teaching in pairs or small groups.

12:30 pm – 1:30 pm
Lunch Break
1-hour lunch break for students to refresh and refuel.

1:30 pm – 3:00 pm
Yoga Philosophy
Lecture and group discussion on a selected topic from The Yoga Sutras or The Bhagavad Gita, with reflections on how to apply these teachings in both practice and teaching.

Afternoon Break
30-minute break for rest and informal discussions.

3:30 pm – 4:30 pm
Sequencing
Learning how the key posture groups can be placed together in vinyasa sequences.

Learning specific forms of pranayama, associated mudras and breath patterns.
