WHEN LIFE FEELS RELENTLESS...
You may be managing your responsibilities well on the outside, work, family, commitments etc, yet internally feel overstimulated, emotionally stretched or quietly depleted.
Perhaps you notice:

This retreat is an opportunity to interrupt these patterns and move yourself in a new direction
THE INTENTION
This retreat will be about learning how to regulate your system, soften unhelpful patterns and cultivate a steadier internal baseline.
Across four days we will work with:

There will also be time spent in nature and times of rest.
The focus is experiential practice supported by theoretical frameworks that give meaning and depth to the practices. You will not simply be guided through practices you will learn how to apply them independently in your daily life.
SILENCE
This will be a partially silent retreat.
Outside of teaching sessions, we will observe silence in order to reduce stimulation and create a protected internal space.
Silence allows you to:
Notice your habitual mental patterns
Regulate emotional reactivity
Experience deeper rest
Develop a more stable inner reference point
Move deeper with less distraction
For many, this becomes the most transformative aspect of the retreat.
OUR LOCATION

Situated two and a half hours from London in the beautiful Norfolk countryside, West Lexham Retreat Centre is a rural delight that will be our host. Surrounded by trees, meadows, lakes and natural beauty it is the perfect place for us to focus on our practice and to feel the support of the elements around us.
Our practices will take place inside the beautiful converted barn yoga space. Meals will be served in the dining and lounge space adjacent to the shala. You'll be able to relax in the comfort of your room in between sessions or in the communal areas which are designed for warmth and relaxation.
Participants will also have (weather permitting) the opportunity to roam the beautiful grounds and beyond in our wonderful setting.

WHAT YOU WILL LEAVE WITH
By the end of the four days, you will have:
Practical techniques to regulate overwhelm & reactivity
Greater awareness of your breath and how to work with it
Tools to create space between thought and reaction
A deeper understanding of yoga psychology
A more stable internal baseline
This is about sustainability, not temporary inspiration. As we know though we can't solve challenges that have been decades in the making in four days. What we can do though is experience the power of these tools to help shift our felt experience. This can motivate us to bring these practices with us at the end of the retreat in to our daily lives to reap even greater benefits
